The Leicester Music Board (LMB) is a collaborative network established in 2024 to champion Leicester’s vibrant music scene and elevate its profile on a national level.

Supported by Leicester City Council, the LMB brings together professionals from the music industry and education sectors to foster growth and development within the city’s music ecosystem.

Leicester Music Board works to:

Develop a lifelong music strategy for Leicester, connecting early years music education through to professional careers in the music industry.

Promote Leicester’s music scene nationally, raising the profile of our artists, venues, and organisations on a wider stage.

Strengthen grassroots support through collaboration, fundraising, and events that create opportunities for musicians, producers, and industry professionals.
