We provide high quality projects aimed at improving employability, skill levels and mental well-being for young adults in the creative industries.

Our Mission

In conjunction with our funding partners, our award-winning projects are aimed at young adults who want to gain skills, experience and contacts in the music & creative industries. Many of our participants are at challenging stages in life; some may be ex-offenders, others may have mental health conditions. We also work with individuals who may be recovering from substance abuse, or may have been unemployed long term.

Each individual is given a bespoke program tailored to their needs and goals; some may require more one-to-one mentoring, others may be more interested in using skills they already have to kickstart their career.

We also pride ourselves in helping students & graduates to make their first steps into the industry. We give them an opportunity to gain practical experience, build a portfolio, and build a commercial client base.

When I first came here, I couldn’t even make eye contact with people.
Since then, my confidence has improved massively.
HQ is such a positive place to go, where there are like-minded people.
It’s saved my life.
— Louis Browne, Project Participant
