The Leicester Music Conference (LMC) is an exciting event that brings together music and creative sector professionals to support the music, arts, and media industries in the East Midlands. With the support of 2Funky Arts, PPLPRS, TiME, and UK Music, this event aims to support and inspire established, emerging, and early-stage creative industry professionals, focusing on the pivotal role of music in various fields. The LMC is scheduled for February 16th, 2024, and will take place at the 2Funky Music Venue in Leicester city centre.

Our Mission
Our mission is to foster collaboration and innovation within the creative industries, with a focus on music. The LMC will create a platform that encourages the growth of regional, national, and international networks, enabling all participants to harness the rich talent, culture, and music scene of the East Midlands.
Organisations from across the region dedicated to community arts and media will have a platform to connect, learn, and grow. This event brings together professionals from the East Midlands, fostering collaboration and growth within the region.
The Leicester Music Conference is a catalyst for growth in the East Midlands' creative industries. The LMC will continue to evolve, with a three-year plan extending out into 2027, offering fresh opportunities, expanding horizons, and connecting professionals from across the music, arts, and media sectors. Together, we can amplify the vibrancy and diversity of the East Midlands music scene and create lasting impact.
The Venue
LMC is set in the stylish settings of The 2Funky Music Complex, a venue with a rich musical heritage in the city of Leicester. Boasting a capacity of upwards of 800 people, spread across 5 rooms of varying sizes, the complex provides ample space for panel discussions, networking events and one-to-one chats.
